Electrical Engineering
Welcome to the Electrical Engineering (EE) module of the RoboArm 2026 handbook. In this track, you will learn how to design, simulate, and wire robust power delivery and signal routing systems for robots.
Module Toolchain
Make sure your workspace and accounts are set up prior to our hands-on workshops:
| Tool | Purpose | Access Link |
|---|---|---|
| Wokwi | Browser-based embedded systems and microcontroller simulation | Launch Wokwi ↗ |
| Fritzing | Breadboard prototyping, circuit schematics, and wiring layouts | Download from RSA Cloud ↗ |
Module Roadmap
Follow the sequential workshop track using the navigation sidebar on the left:
-
01. Fundamentals & Power Sizing
Ohm's law, voltage regulation, power bus design, and peak motor current budgets. -
02. Schematic & Circuit Design
Breadboard prototyping, logic level shifting, motor drivers, and signal filtering. -
03. Wiring, Harnessing & Diagnostics
Multimeter debugging, noise suppression, wire harnessing, and bench supply testing.
Submit your wiring diagrams or hardware requests via the top navigation bar at Submissions.
